Call or Chat – We’re Available [COVID-19 Response]

At Jones Appliance & TV, we aware of the ever-changing circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and we plan to take every possible precaution to ensure our customers and employees remain safe and in good health. We have launched a more thorough and intensive cleaning program to improve the overall hygiene of the delivery process. We are reducing employee interaction as much as possible to limit the spread and prevent future outbreaks of the COVID-19 virus. It is our number one priority to take the necessary precautions to keep you safe. Here’s what we plan to do. 

Our showrooms are professionally cleaned daily—products, phones, counters, doors, and so on. They are cleaned throughout the workday and during the evenings after closing. We plan to increase our daily cleanings two or three more times per day. This means if you’re expecting a dishwasher, refrigerator, range or any other appliance, we have taken the measures to properly sanitize your appliance upon delivery. We are also taking the time to properly sanitize dollies, tools, delivery trucks, pens, anything that you might come in contact with.

Before any in home delivery or service is performed, you will receive a call from us as to verify that no one in your home is showing any signs of the virus or have traveled outside of the area recently.

Personal

Our employees, they will always also have plenty of hand sanitizer and Clorox cleaning wipes with them and will thoroughly wash their hands for at least 20 seconds before and after each customer interaction. If you have any problems with your appliance or delivery thereof and decide to come into the store, we will have hand sanitizer available throughout the building. We have also implemented a temporary policy of not shaking hands to protect you and our staff from transmitting any bacteria. 

Travel

We are a local company that does not need to travel abroad. All our deliveries will remain within our local market. We have also canceled all travel for conventions and conferences at this time. This includes team associates from moving from store to store. We want to limit our interactions to our co-workers at located at their assigned store location. All our in-person interaction with vendors and staff at different store locations will be replaced by a video chat or phone call for the time being.

We have a limited number of phone lines and ask for your patience when calling the office. We also offer live chat during our business hours. You can check our website, blog, and social media for updates, and live chat with us if you have questions regarding your order or delivery status.

If you are feeling ill, stay home and postpone your appliance delivery. We can reschedule free of charge and find a time that works for both you and our team.

If you need in-home repair, refrain from making calls on anything other than essential products such as refrigeration, cooking, and washing machines. We want to make sure our store is still the safest place for you and your family to shop for appliances.
